| New York City On my two getaways to NYC, I spent a lot of time blissfully alone with the city and loved it. I was able to shop at my leisure, casually stroll into side-street boutiques, and find some really unique stuff. |

Day 17: My family

| Cuban families are big. This is just my mom's side while my dad's side is three times as big as this. Cuban families are also close, so we often get together. Here, we just finished having a family breakfast at Casa Larios, a Cuban restaurant (of course, lol). Can you tell I'm quite proud to be Cuban? |

| My dad and my brother. My parents aren't together and my brother lives in Nyc, so I couldn't leave them out! |

| My mini schnauzer, Joey. Pets are family and those who don't treat them as such don't deserve the unconditional love they give. I've had him for 9 years and don't even want to imagine my family without him. I miss him so much while I'm in Japan! |

| My dwarf rabbit, Honey Bunny Bon Bon (bonbon for short ^^). He's the newest addition to my family although I've wanted one for a long time. A series of serendipitous events led me to him and I couldn't be happier. People have asked me if I'm going to take him back to America with me and while to them it might be a valid question, to me it's not a question at all (see above). |
