30 Day Song Challenge
Day 01 - Your favorite song
This challenge didn't mention any need to explain your songs, but I don't want to leave my choices up to speculation. I first heard this song back in middle school when Miami actually had a house music party station (Party 93.1) and always thought the simple lyrics to be deeply romantic. Like one of the facts above mentions, I'm a hopeless romantic, so these kinds of lyrics really struck a chord with me....wait for it...(the facts also mention I love a good pun ^o^)
There are numerous remixes to this song but I went ahead and chose the version of the song I first heard on the radio all those years ago. The video accompanying it has a compilation of many of the beautiful love stories in the amazing Final Fantasy series. The Spanish subtitles were annoying at first but then I realized that this video is already combining several attributes about me -my favorite song, my love of anime, my weakness for sappiness - so why not throw the language of my heritage on top? Also, this is a long version of the song, so watching the anime scenes makes it feel shorter.

Love the idea. So, you're going to be posting a new picture and a new song everyday? I also love "I'll Fly with you" by Gigi D'Agostino. I heard it when I was in middle school and thought it was so romantic with a beautiful melody, too!

ReplyDeleteI've always been interested in doing these things... but, know that I wouldn't be able to keep up with it... kind of like my weekly self-portrait deal that I just lost interest in... which, I'm actually surprised at how long I did that for.
ReplyDeleteBut, yeah... I think I might just grab different items from the list and post them without any limitations or specifications on how long or short I'll do it for.
I had found a couple of other photography challenges that were shorter but I liked this one because it forces me to reflect rather than explore which is what I want for now.
